denver international airportIf you have some time in between flights, or perhaps a long layover, the Denver International Airport is one of the best places to be. This airport is modern, easy to navigate, and clean, and everyone who works there is helpful and friendly. You will also find a wide range of places to eat and shop, as well as many other fun things to do and see. As a result, time spent at this airport is actually enjoyable.

Airport Dining

This year, the Denver International Airport celebrates its 20th anniversary. In response to passenger demand, the airport added many new places to eat to the existing restaurants. This includes a brewery-themed restaurant as part of the upcoming Westin Denver International Airport Hotel. Within the past two years, 42 new or updated concessions opened, with more coming. In fact, by the end of this year, 25 additional new or renovated locations will be open for passengers to enjoy. You can have a nice sit-down dinner or grab something quick and delicious at the upstairs food court.

Shopping Experience

For shopping, the Denver International Airport has stores in all concourses, as well as the Jeppesen Terminal. There, you will find Bose and Hudson News stores. Over in Concourse A are Spirit of the Red Horse, Greetings from Colorado, Sunglass Express, and a duty-free store where you can purchase tax-free goods. In Concourse B are Johnston & Murphy, Mile High Harley Davidson, Team Store, Swarovski, and others, In Concourse C, you will find an array of branded souvenirs and clothing items, as well as The Body Shop, Team Store, and Bluewire.

Airport Lounges

Another reason a layover at the Denver International Airport is so easy is because of the different lounges. For example, there is the American Admiral’s Club in Concourse A, United Club in Concourse B, and the USO lounge that is set aside specifically for military personnel and their families. Over in Concourse A, there is a shared British Airways Executive Club Lounge and American Airlines Admirals Lounge. Along with these, the airport offers several other lounges for quality downtime.

Staying Connected

Because the Denver International Airport offers free Wi-Fi throughout the entire airport, staying connected is easy. You can stay connected = using various mobile apps, and still perform work as needed without interruption.
